When a promising fracture zone in the white rhyolite host rock was encounted, the track hoes and dozers were shut down and the hand work begun. Maybe this fracture would contain nothing but clay, maybe it would contain a cluster of gemmy red beryl crystals. One never knew until all the rock was broken down to pieces not much bigger than the size of a walnut.. |
