In the spring of 2012 I had the opportunity to once again visit Yogo Gulch and spend some time digging for sapphire on the property available to miners/owners of Sapphire Village. We didn't come up with any large crystals that would cut a gemstone of more than 0.1 carat, but what the heck; you never know. Offered here is a neat parcel of small Yogo sapphire crystals showing the typical color range, clarity, and crystal shapes. Some tiny stones could be cut from the larger pieces, but these are being offered as a unique parcel of specimens from this world-renowned mine. (M488, $20.00 Sold)
